RESISTA has been involved in the Viennese club scene for around two decades. She became known in the 2000s as a Drum & Bass DJ. From the 2010s onwards, she increasingly turned to NuSchool Breaks (much respect to Bounce!/Addiction rip), then 140-Jungle and finally UK Rave/Hardcore.
Her love for broken beats has remained until today, but RESISTA is no longer concerned with genre boundaries. Her selection these days reflects all the sounds she has celebrated and absorbed on dancefloors over the years: Breaks, Bass, UKG & 2Step, Rave/Hardcore, Jungle, Juke, Dubstep, Techno. Everything that contains breakbeat flavors or revives UK Rave sounds of the early 1990s will be served.
Since October 2021 RESISTA has a residency at JUICE LIFE and can be heard (and seen) regularly at the community radio VLAN/Vienna Local Area Network.
